Hi,
I was driving home yestseday when I suddenly lost power. I pulled over and found out that the clamps that hold the u joint became loose and the diferential became unattatched.
I replaced the u joint and whent to drive it home. When I started driving it, it started to shake back and forth vigorousiy. I pulled over and parked it.

That's my problem. Can you help me?

Thanks,
Jeff

PS. My left rear tire is a little low on air pressure. Could this be the problem?

See my profile. Were you shaking prior to th discovery of the " U" joint issue?

While you are at it, crawl back under and INSURE your new " U" joint is CENTERED in the DRIVESHAFT YOKE. AND. CENTERED in the DIFFERENTIAL YOKE ! (I mean, its IN-BETWEEN, and SEATED DOWN inside the little EARS, NOT RIDING on TOP of either side).

If you are low on air, you know the drill, I wouldn't think the air issue, would cause the shaking.

Let me know the deal, maybe can still help you.

Still want to know your findings.

Love, Turddog
