The drivers seat on my jeep will not move fully into the up right position. The part which controls the recline needs to be replaced. I removed the seat & took it to the dealer.
My question is how much should it cost to repair the seat?

Hello -

Well, I am really sorry - the program we use doesn't show any estimate on seat repair.

I would imagine you could figure the part and then about $60 per hour at least.

If they have not worked on it yet...I would ask for the estimate. Then compare that to several shops in town that recover seats, headliners etc.

Also, ask what it would cost overall, then, ask if you pull the seat or any other part in the future. That way you can get a better idea on your time savings also.

I know this isn't much help, but again, the program doesn't provide that data.

Would you like to be referred to another moderator for their opinion?

We do not have that part listed in our sources. But, from experience, depending on what they all replace, I'mgoing to say $150 to 200.
