Hello. Everyone. My jeep while being on feels like it's going to turn off on me, it happens while driving and while its in park. Could it be a bad battery? Please help. Jimmy. Hey thanks man. I took the car for a quick spin, and the rpm goes very low like it's about to turn off, and when it's in gear and moving it does the same thing, should I do a tune up first and see what it could be? I'm buying a batt tomorrow no I haven't done a major tune up since I bought it at 34,000 miles. Happy holidays.

Do you have a check engine light and when was your last tune-up? Idling low beyond the specified curb idle-could be caused by numerous problems such as an idle air control valve, EGR and PCV valves and the list goes on.

As for the battery-you just need to have both the battery and alternator checked out-
