1997 Jeep Wrangler spark plugs

My mechanic just changed the spark plugs (6 of them), the distributor, and the coil. He claims there are 6 coils on this car and I need to pay for all of them, although I only saw them remove one that was cracked. How many coils are there near the spark plugs?

Hi there, if the distributer was change it is not a coil over plug ignition system, and from reading Mitchell 1 this is the case, you will only have 1 coil, just confirm what your mechanic is talking about.
