I have a very loose/worn input shaft bearing causing noise and lube loss. How can I repair the input shaft bearing(s) and seal? Does the whole unit need to be taken apart or can the bearing be replaced without disassembly?

The pinion goes in from the front of the yoke then the new seal and then the yoke itself. I would suggest tho that you have the ring and pinion gear inspected by someone that knows what he is looking at. If the bearing is that worn than chances are you will have to reset the pinion setting. This should be done by a qualified person in my opinion. Let me know how it goes. Curt
