1995 Jeep Wrangler engine noise

I get a rattleing noise when I down shift. A little rattle at idle.

Can you be more specific about the rattle. Are you sure it is coming from the engine? When idling I would guess the light rattle you are hearing would be the tappets or at least in the valve train. I take it it has 165,000 miles or is the post correct at 65,000. LEt me know and we will try and help. Curt
