1992 Jeep Wrangler Exhaust Dounut

Is there such a thing as a exhaust dontun? If so would it cause power loss.

Ehaust is loud and was told to put exhust dounut back on.

There is a such thing as a exhaust donut, it is the gasket that fits where the exhaust manifold and exhaust piping meets.

It can cause a lack of power by messing with the o2 sensors from an exhaust leak.

[Thanks, just bought my first jeep and when bought he stated the noise was the dougnut blew off. And noticed it struggled to get up to 55-60 mph. Seemed as if it would get to 50-55mph and that was it

Its either that, or an exhaust leak.

Maybe even a plugged catalytic convertor which could be causing the noise and power loss.
