1987 Jeep Wrangler Manual

I have an '87 Wrangler, and the brake lights are hung up and on constantly. Is there a relay or switch that I can access to fix this problem? I do not have the manual and am not sure of the schematics!
thanks

See my profile, You done good!

I am looking at my "Chilton" JEEP 1945-1987 (I am a CJ guy)

This may help, Look in "BRAKES" section, and under, Stop Light Switch (my book, page 470)

Explains how to adjust switch at brake pedal. (sorry I read your stuff too fast!, You really, did not do good, as I thought you had a manual, you do need one, for later fixes, and maintenece schedules)

Switch is at upper portion of pedal, may have moved from off position.

It should be EZ for you to scope it out, and adjust it. (you will see it operate, as you push the pedal)

A Big Ole hand mirror, will aid you alot, until you HAVE TO get in that contorted neck and back position, for some steps!

Reply with results or for better book instructions

Love, Turddog
