Hello, I have an older 1984 ice cream truck (the ones that have been previously used as post office trucks). There is no power being turned on by the starting ignition switch. We tried changing the switch, changing the fuses, and starter solenoid. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Hi,

Is this on a GM chassis? The brake master cylinder in the pic appears to be a GM design. Also, do other electrical components work?

Let me know.

Joe

Hello. It is on a GM chassis. We were able to fix the issue, the wiring with the switch was done incorrectly, we corrected it. Thank you for your response!

Excellent! I'm glad to hear you got it fixed. I thought it looked like a GM and not a Jeep. LOL Regardless, please feel free to come back in the future if you have any questions or need help. Also, thanks for letting me know.

Take care of yourself,
Joe
