Hello, I have a start/stop warning light on. I disconnected the cable for the aux battery and removed the #42 fuse so it won’t drain the main battery. I was going to delete the warning light with a code reader and I saw a P1DB1 code. Didn’t know if it was related too the start/stop warning light or something different otherwise I’m having no problems at all. Thank you.

So this code will come up if the amin battery or the small AUX battery is bad. The auxiliary battery is located under the main battery, on the passenger side of the engine bay.

P1DB1 is typically related to: Auxiliary Battery / Battery Control System Performance

I would check an replace this battery if needed, also how old is the main battery? Check out the images (below). Please upload an image or a short video in your response, so I can see what's going on.

Good to know about the code. The main battery is about a year and a half old. The auxiliary battery is the original from 2018. I disconnected the aux battery and pulled the fuse to it and installed a bypass switch that has disabled start/stop. The switch is working like it’s supposed to and thank you for the info about the P1DB1 code, I just didn’t want to spend a lot of money to replace the the extra battery that is annoying and not needed anyway. Thanks again
