I need to know where the Shift Solenoid A Circuit sensor is located - Trouble shoot code P0753.

The dealer states it is located INSIDE the engine and will cost close to $2000 to repiar. The manufacturer states it is located OUTSIDE the engine.

The dealer states the Drivetrain warranty of 84 months or 70K miles covers the repair. The manufacturer states this part is NOT covered as it is located outside the engine.

I do not have $2000 to repair a car only 8 months old to me, with less than 50K miles - only 6K miles of which were used by me since purchase. The dealer is assuming no responsibility for selling this vehicle, the manufacturer will not warranty the repair and part and I find this whole thing absolutely ludicrous.

My son is a newly college educated mechanic but has no time under his belt on Jeeps - only Chevrolet as that is his specialty. If I can locate where this part is located so that he can repair it for me, it would save me so much financial hardship.

Thank you sincerely in advance for any assistance.
:( :x
