I am trying to clean the carpets of my 97 jeep grand cherokee and would simply like to know the easiest way to either flip the front seats foward or the easiest way to remove them completely to get to the carpet underneath

Hello, the easiest way would be to pull the front seats all the way out. Under the seat on the pedestal where it bolts to the floor you will generally find a 14 or 15 mm bolt in each corner of the base. Just remove these bolts, unplug any electrical connections if you have electric seats tilt a little forward and slide them out, two person job. You may have to fold the sets forward enough to take the seat belts out. Install back just in reverse order.
