1994 Other Jeep Models help me it to hot !

I need help on the a/c this guy that my sister knows had cut some black tubes that I assume that 1 goes to the coolent part and the other goes to the heater, well any way he had showed me the one that came from the heater and it had pieces of metal in it and he took the other and by pass the heater so I could have a/c well it was fine for 1 day ! My truck over heated so bad, help me try to fix it

If the truck didnt overheat before, have him put the hoses back.I dont understand what he could have done to make the a/c work by by-passing coolant flow, but the engine is more important than a/c. Put it back how it is supposed to be and keep him away from it. Take it to a shop and have the a/c system looked at once it doesnt overheat anymore.
