I have a 90 jeep grand wagoneer with a amc 360, It has a miss at idle and low rpms. I have installed accel cap rotor wires and motorcraft plugs.
set the timing and adjusted the motorcraft 2150 carb. Miss is still there. So I removed the factory ford igniton module and wired in a GM 4 prong hei control module. This solved the miss but now when I apply the brakes the jeep dies, it will start back and run until you touch the brakes. It will not do it in park only in gear. Please help before I burn this classic to the ground!

Have you tried getting under the dash and just working the brake switch to see if it the electrical end of the brake system? If so you may need to look up the wiring for the original module to see where it intersects the brake light system (Cruise Control maybe?)
