1965 Other Jeep Models Four Wheel Drive Manual

I bought a jeep that had a Intl scout 258 engine and a t-19 4 speed that was regeard to match the fwd. The engine seized and a trashed it. Question is what type of 258 will this tranny bolt up to. Or do I have to fine a Scout engine.

The trans should be bolted to a bell housing, which is then bolted to the engine. You should be able to unbolt the bell housing from the trans and replace it with one to fit the engine of your choice. Good luck. Mickey-d
