2002 Jeep Laredo Problem with my Grand Cherokee transmissio

Hallo,

I have a diesel 2.7 grand cherokee 2002. Auto transmission stack in 2nd gear with engine lamp on and I have to pull over, turn off and on again. Not allways fix the problem.
Is there I can do to fix this problem?

You are driving in what is called limp mode. The computer has identified a problem and is protecting the transmission. What you need to do is have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Most parts stores will do it for free.

Have it checked and let me know what you find.
