2001 Jeep Laredo Fan stopped

Hi. My Jeep Laredo started to over heat today. Enough, coolent, no leaks. The fan has stopped. It is not seized up, spins freely. How do I tell what sensor needs to be replaced?

Take the coolant temperature switch and put it on direct +12v if the fan doesnt turn on then the relay has failed or the fan has failed even a damage in the wiring harness.

If it turns on the switch or voltage to it is failing.
