HOW DO YOU CHECK THE VOLTAGE OF RELAY SWITCHES? WHAT SHOULD MY READING BE AND MY DAD LENT ME HIS VOLT READER BUT IT HAS DCmA, DCV, ACV, AND SOME WEIRD OMEGA LOOKING SIGN THEN IT HAS DIFFERENT NUMBERS IN EACH CATAGORY WHICH SHOULD I BE USING? AND ONE MORE QUESTION, DO I TAKE THE RELAYS OUT AND TEST THEM DO I LEAVE THEM IN WITH THE CAR RUNNING? THEY DONT HAVE LITTLE OPENINGS SUCH AS FUSES SO IM NOT TOO SURE HOW TO EVEN BEGIN TO GO ABOUT CHECKING THEM.

What is the issue?
What relay you are looking to check?
Mark a good relay and switch it with the suspected one

I HAVE A 2001 JEEP G. CHOROKEE LOREDO IT ALMOST NEVER STARTS ON THE THE FIRST TRY AND IS ALWAYS CUTTING OFF ON ME WHILE DRIVING AND THEN WILL NOT RESTART RIGHT AWAY SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE MY FUEL PUMP RELAY SWITCH. IT IS NOT OVER HEATING AND THERE IS NO VACUUM LEAKS MY BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR ARE FINE, I GOT A DIEGNOSTIC CHECK AND IT CAME OUT FINE AND I ALWAYS HEAR THE FUEL PUMP CUTTING ON WITH THE TURN OF MY KEY SO I DONT THINK ITS THAT. I HAVE NOTICED THAT WHEN I PUSH IN THE PIN TO BLEED THE FUEL LINE THAT I DO SEEM TO HAVE AIR IN THERE BUT I BELIEVE THAT I HAD BURPED IT ENOUGH BY NOW THAT IT SHOULDNT BE MY PROBLEM, RIGHT? I DONT KNOW. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! WHAT COULD MY PROBLEM BE? AM I OVER LOOKING SOMETHING?

Fuel pressure need to be tested
also check for spark
check our video collection for more help and that
and direction on how to hook up fuel pressure gauge
the fuel pump may be coming on but also should be supplying fuel under pressure and that need to be checked
as for relays you can mark a know good relay and switch it with the suspected one
also check cranksensor
