HI I HAVE HAD BEEN ON A CHARGER AS I DONT USE VEHICLE MUCH CAR WOULD NOT START TODAY AND I TRED TO REMOVE BATTERY TO REPLACE BUT COULD NOT GET IT OUT. ANYHOW I JUMP STARTED THE CAR AND WHEN I TURNED IT OF THE INSTRUMENTS SPUN ROUND AN AROUND AND IT MADE A CLICKING NOISE COULD YOU HELP IS THERE A RESET BUTTON

Had the same exact thing happen to my 1999 jeep grand cherokee. Turns out it was the alternator, replaced it later that day and it all worked fine and has since, also replaced the battery just because mine was about 3 4-5 years old and had a ton of corrosion.
