1998 Jeep Laredo COSTS

I was curious what the cost estimate to replace teh CV Joint on my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo would cost as it has been clicking for a month now. Also where should I get it repaired in Bristol, CT. Should it be a specialty shop or any ordinary repair shop?

Chris:
Most places won't replace just a CV joint anymore. Most will want to replace the "half shaft" which is the axle and both joints. Expect the part to be around 200.00 and labor around 1.5 hours. Many will want to realign the vehicle when done.
