My 97 jeep grand cherokee has been sitting for 8 months, before I parked it it was running fine.I put a new battery in it, it turns but will not start. When it was parked it had about 1-2 gallons of gas in it. I just put 5 gal of gas in it but it still wont start.

A few things to check. Dist cap and rotor. Crank position sensor. Fuel pump and injectors.
