Hello once again! How do I pull out an oil pump and install one, what steps do I take? On a 95 4.0 jeep cherokee laredo 2 wheel drive.

1.Remove oil pan as outlined under Oil Pan/Service and Repair.
2.Remove oil pump to cylinder block retaining bolts, then the oil pump and gasket. WARNING: Do not disturb positioning of oil pump strainer and tube. If tube is moved, a replacement tube and screen assembly must be installed to prevent pump cavitation.
3.Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a.Use a new oil pump gasket.
b.Tighten retaining bolts to specifications.
