1994 Jeep Laredo Jeep shuts down

I own a 1994 jeep cherokee laredo thats has a problem that I cant figure out! Its shuts down sometimes while driven or stoped. After its shuts down I usually give it a couple min to start it back up. Sometimes its starts back up or I have to give it more time. Also the radio and everything else remains on when it shuts down. When scanned nothing shows up because the check engine light dosnt come on. I talked to a few people and nobody seems to no the problem. Please Help!
