Engine Performance problem
1993 Jeep Laredo 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I had someone take off spark plugs and wires and put new ones in. We wee told this was the problem.
what has happened now is that the plugs were not put back excatly the same way and we cant get the car to start. We need to know how to match up the plugs. I hope someone can help.

Your firing order is 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4 and the number one should start on the right hand side of the notch for the distributor cap(the notch facing closest to the fender) as you are looking at it from the passenger side fender. Hope this helps! Also, your number one cylinder is the first spark plug facing the front of your vehicle and goes in order from 1-6 and 6 being the very last spark plug on the back of your engine, so it would go 1 for the very first spark plug on your engine, 2 would be you second spark plug from the front of your vehicle and so on. The plug wire for number one needs to be put on the first spark plug and put in the number one position for the distributor cap and the firing order for the distributor cap is mentioned above in the beginning going in a clock-wise direction on the distributor.
