1993 Jeep Laredo idles hard an no power

I had a compression test on it an cylinder 2 piston 5 has hardly any compression I need a new head an pistons with ring I do all my work my self just wondering how hard or how long you think it might take me or should I save up the money some how an take it to a shop.

Because of the mileage on the vehicle, I would recommend finding a good used engine. By the time you replace everything, you'll have much more money into it and a lot more time. Just make sure that the salvage yard is willing to guarantee their parts.
