1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Replaced Transmission Filter. Prob

I just replaced the filter in the transmission. After the replacement, it drives fine untill it warms-up. When it is warm the transmission does not shift properly. It shifts from first gear to second fine then it sticks in second gear. If I let off the gas peddle it will shift into second gear. Then it shifts the remaning gears fine. Is there a o-ring that goes on before the filter. Or is there a nother issue? By the way, the transmission worked fine before I replaced the filter.

Your big trigger here was changing the fluid on a car with 180K. The damage was already done but changing the fluid brought it to the surface. You going to need a trans rebuild.
