I have a 1985 CJ7 with automatic transmission and a six cylinder, fuel injected engine. I have 195k miles on the jeep.
I am hearing a clicking sound from the right, front wheel humb. I have never tried putting the jeep in 4X4 to see if the clicking would stop, but it deffinently clicks in 2X4, and the sound seems more pronounced when I turn.

any ideas?

most likely the cv joint or axle, put it in 4wd and see if it worsens if its not that it could also be that there is just something loose so take of wheel and check the wheel bearing nut all 3 bolts holding the hub in, the 2 bolts holding the caliper mounts in and the allen or torx bolt holding the caliper in. if its not that then just take everything i just said to check off and pull the cv axle out and check for a torn boot or wear in the joint or teeth at the end of the axle
