Replacing Brake lights

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 65000 miles. Rear Brake light is burnt out. I removed the 2 screws on the black plate that holds the light fixture in place inside of the lift gate. However, the light fixture becomes loose but will not come out so the bulb area can be reached. It feels like it is connected on the real corner panel some how. How do I get the fixture to come out to replace the bulb without breaking the fixture?

I will gladly return to the site and make a donation if a correct answer is received.

There are probably more scres to remove.2 don't usually hold the assembly in place. Most of the time you need to remove interior panel to access the nuts that hold it on!
