Positive Battery Cable

I need to replace the positive battery cable in my jeep. The problem is, that I need a "specific" cable. One that has a wire going out to the battery post and fuse box and at the other end one that has two "eye lids" to connect to the starter posts. Now most generic cables only come with one "eyelid" for the starter connections. Do I need to connect to both starter posts or can I bypass it and use one "eyelid"? I could always buy a factory cable but that costs $90.

Thanks.

You could always make the jumper up with 10 or 12 gauge wire and crimp on two eylets.

Thanks! I'll try it without connecting to both starter posts and if that doesn't work, I'll try crimping on two eyelids.
