I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokee I took it to a shop about 5 days ago with a evap problem the shop said they fixed it. They replaced a few hoses and the charcol canister I was told. A few days ago the check engine light came back on and its the same evap problem, my wife drove the jeep to a store and when she got back in to leave it would'nt start I got there 20 mins later it took a while to start. I shut the jeep off and tried to start it again, cranked but no start, 30 mins later it took a few tries but started back up. I let it run for a bit, shut it back off but no start again. Any help with this would be great, I really need it going for work and school.

Well I need to know if there is spark or not but it sounds like you may have a bad crank position sensor not uncommon on chrysler products. Let me know if you have spark and we will check that sensor after that.

It seems to have spark it starts after a few turns of the key, but once I turn it off it'll have trouble starting back up. It seems if I wait 30 to 45 mins it'll start up again but only after I have to crank it over a few time. Will it shoot out a trouble code if its the crank position sensor
