2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Fan Blower

I have a 200 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with approximately 63K miles on it. My problem is with the fan blower. Recently the blower only turns on with the "windshield" setting. When switched to the "face" or "face and legs" setting, nothing happens. Occasionally, when I leave the setting on "face" or "face and legs", the blower will turn on after 10-20 minutes. Do you know what the problem is?

I have essentially the same problem. I took someone's advice without checking and replaced the blower motor which would not run 99% of the time.

Not the problem.
I really could used a Wiring digram. I am an electronic tech.
I found an intermittent voltage on the black and white wire on the plug that goes to the resistors.
