Recently I noticed my Jeep has trouble turning when I am in 4 wheel. In 2 wheel (rear wheel drive) I can turn just fine at any speed. But in 4 wheel, if I make a tight turn (pulling into a parking space) the steering wheel will actually jerk back at me regardless if I am turning left or right. Could this be in the differential and if so what needs to be done?
As a side note, my Jeep now shakes between 50 and 55 MPH. I know this is common with Jeeps, but I did not know if that information will help you. Thank you for your advice.

Thats perfectly normal when in part time four wheel drive. Its actually a way you can test the 4x4 system on a vehicle to see if it's working, however, having a vehicle in part time four wheel drive on dry roads will damage the transfer case. Ever rain wet roads may eventually cause damage if you prolong use of an off road designed 4x4 system, like the one in your Jeep.
