Electrical problem
2000 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

was hit by a deer this morning and broke out the drivers side head lamp and driver side marker light, front marker lights were ok just crushed the housing. I replaced both head lamps with new ones. Now the Drivers side lights up on Dim and not High Beam, and the passenger side does the exact opposite. And the side marker wont light at all. I checked fuses under the dash and couldnt find any burnt. Wasnt sure what fuse to look at under the hood. Please help

Welcome to the forum. Jeep Cherokee Classic with DRL. Right headlamp, fuse 5--10amp, low beam, voltage circuit at headlamp, violet wire with red tracer.

Fuse 16-- 10 amp, high beam, voltage circuit at headlamp, red wire with orange tracer.

Left headlamp, fuse 3-- 10 amp, high beam, voltage circuit at headlamp, red wire.

Fuse 4-- 10 amp, low beam, voltage circuit at headlamp, violet wire.

The fuses I mentioned are in the junction block, behind right kick panel, use a testlite, select bright or dim and see if the appropriate fuse is hot.
