Recengly my friend was following me home and noticed that my back left tire is shaking. I believe I put fix-a-flat inthis tire at one time. Could something else need to be fixed? It feels like the tire is unbalanced.

Fix-a-flat is great for short distance, but it isnt good for longdistance.

It unballances the tire horribly and can cause dmage to the wheel bearing.

Get a new tire or clean that one out and get a plug in it and make sure that hte bearing is still good.

It's too late for a plug or patch because the slime can't be cleaned off.

It's not easy to see an out-of-balance tire when following another car. It is pretty easy to see a sideways wobble. This could be a bent wheel or a broken belt in the tire. It is common for a patched tire to develop a broken belt. Water and salt get into the hole and corrode the steel belts.

Have a tire shop look at.
