Just bought new tires and they rub on the fender flares. Will shackles help or do I need a narrower tire? It only rubs on bumps and tight turns.

If you go with oversized tires, sevral things for you to know. Brakes, and steering parts will wear out faster, ABS can be affected, speedometer accuracy. And the fenders! You may need a lift kit.

You could go with lifted shackles, but I have always opted to steer away from that option. It just doesnt seem safe unless you were to get a set of heavy duty(welded), and no more than 1 ". I run a 4" on my cherokee with 31x10.5 mud terrains, no fender flares or sway bars, and still come pretty close to rubbing during extreme off roading. If you do opt to go with a shackle lift, it would probably be a good idea to a spacer kit for the front coils also.
