I own a 1999 Grand Jeep Chrokee V8 195000 miles. The oil pressure gage rides at 40psi when moving. At idel goes 5psi to 0 the warning beel sounds. The oil level is full, however there is no sign of a leak and it seems to be using more oil these days. Can you please give me your thoughts to what could wrong or going wrong. Thanks

As a 1st step I think you should replace the oil sending switch
buy it at the dealer, same price better quality
As for oil do not add more than needed
it will harm and not help
