I have a Grand Cherokee 4x4 recently my wife was dring home and the upper hose broke she drove it 41/2 milles home as it sat on my drive way someone cut off my catalytic converter. I tried to start it it would not stya running unless I kept my foot on the gas so when a new converter was put on it still would not stay idled, so I changed both o2 sensors, still the same I changed all the spark plugs, when I took off the fuel filter there was dark gas in it when I put on the new one it still would not stay running. Should I drop the tank to change the Strainer in the tank? What do you suggest?

I think you need to check the cooling system(pressure test) and check for codes, turn the key from off to on three times, on the fourth one leave it in the on position, any codes will display in the odometer window, post the codes here. Four miles with no coolant can warp heads, a compression test is in order too.
