My question

I live in Tennessee, where its cold right now and my battery is dead. For the last three days, I've started my car to keep the battery from freezing. Now that its dead, well I was thinking maybe I could unscew it and unplug it and bring it in the house and put it on a towel to warm it up gradually. I just need to make it to work for the next couple of days til I can get to autozone to replace it. Jumping it off is out of the question when this is the only car and no neighbors. Does anybody have any ideas?

Do you have a battery charger? Warming it may help a little, but it won't recharge it.

Let me know.

Thanks for replying Joe, no sir I do not have a battery charger. I'm just thinking the acid inside is frozen. From your experience, you wouldn't think it would explode as it thaws out and slightly starts to charge a little? Especially from maybe a spark?
