I have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.0 L V6, with 140k miles. My temperature has suddenly started to go over 210 rather quickly, in less than 3 miles normal city driving. I'm thinking thermostat, if so, where is it located on this particular model? Thanks

It should be mounted right on the front of the engine on the head.

Listen to Thetoolman don't listen to wildcat he has no clue I just changed one one and it's on the front of the head where your radiator hose goes into the housing on the passengers side follow that hose and to the top of the engine, your engines head hope this helped.

It is directly above the water pump. My bad. You will see two hoses going into the housing for it.
