1998 grand Cherokee limited 5.2L BEAST!
i don't know if this is a problem or if it because the engine is just a rough n tough tank. Lol.
anyway.I get a knocking sound coming from if but its very lite. All the fluids are the correct colors, and no smoke is coming from the tail pipe. I'm just wanting to catch a problem b 4 it gets to bad. Is this normal, like I said its really lite, but u can hear it. Thanks.

This could be a bearing problem, a piston problem a valve train problem, there are a few ways to try and isolate this noise, but as it is so faint just now this is a bit hard to do, I would start with an oil pressure test with a mechanical gauge, also a good mechanic may be able to pin point any potential problem using a stethoscope, start here.
