My 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport has an instrument cluster with a mind of its own. Some times all of the gauges work fine, some times none of them do, some times some of them work. I suspect a bad ground/loose ground connection, but don't know where this connection is located. Wiring diagrams from Chilton's aren't any help with the location.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim

Chrysler issued a TSB, number 08-15-99 on May 21, 1999 about this problem.

Call dealership with number, they'll order the parts, shouldn't cost more than about $100 for them to fix it. Or google the tsb number and one of the jeep forums will tell you how to fix it yourself.
