Electrical problem
1998 Jeep Cherokee Four Wheel Drive Automatic v8 miles

Moved car this morning with no problem. When locking the doors with the switch on the door nothing happened. Tried to turn car on and nothing except a mild clicking under the radio or possible behind the glove compartment. Any ideas?

Sounds like you lost a battery connection or your battery died. I would have the battery checked.

Is it possible the cables got loose shoehow? What accounts for the mild clicking I hear behind the radio or in the glove? Finally, I did see a light in the glove.

Thanks,

Bob

A circuit that is not complete with do weird things. Some lights and clicking may occur. Hook a battery charger up and see if everything is working ok. Can you better describe what is going on?
