1998 Jeep Cherokee check ingine lihts on all the time

My car is showing check ingine on the panel and some time the abs. But my car is to slow when I acerate the revolucion has to go all the way upto run faster.

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.
