I just recently got my oil changed and now the oil gauge in my car will drop to zero and stay there or just fluctuate. When the gauge hits zero, the "Check Gauges" light comes on. I checked the oil and it's well above the safe line. I was just wondering what I should do or if I should be worried about this.

P.S. It did this a little bit before I got my oil changed but only when it was really cold (30 degrees or lower) and it was fine after the jeep warmed up.

Please let me know what I should and if I should be worried as soon as possible. Thanks

Hi, its probably your oil gauge sender unit, located next to your oil filter. To be shure get someone to connect a mechanical gauge to the engine this will tell you if its the sender or an engine problem, good luck
