Tires and Wheels problem
1996 Jeep Cherokee V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I just realized that when someone else borrowed my car and had a blow out on the driver's side rear tire they replaced with a larger tire than was one there. What does that do to the vehicle? I have only driven the car a couple of times but I noticed transmisson problems and possibly axle noises. Can you help?

On a 4 wheel drive you must have all of the tyres exactly the same size preferably the same type and make if you have one larger or smaller than the others it will mean that it is going faster or slower than the others so if you drive it much like it you will have some large bills on the way for new diffs etc
