looking for advice on how to stiffen the rear suspension in order to prevent sagging when jeep has heavy load in rear and or towing a trailer without installing a lift kit

THey make a helper spring shock that actually has a coil spring attached to it to help with saging. If that isn't enough, you may want to consider air shocks. You can add pressure to them to eliminate the sag.
