I have a Jeep 1992 Cherokee Laredo, the truck used to run like a champ until ond day it stopped on me. What it is doing now is : I can drive it for 5-10 miles and after that it will just cut off and will not crank back up until it sits for about 30 mins to an hour then it cranks back up. I know this is a broad question but what can make this happened.

I suspect the crank position sensor, very common in most cars, let alone jeeps, If you wish to do some prelimenary testing before changing it, a fuel pressure check and a spark check will indicate what area we need to go. If you find the spark is off, and that is what I suspect. Then I would be 99.9percent sure its the crank sensor
