1988 Cherokee fuel pump

You have to either drop the tank, or cut the brush pan (that protects the fuel tank) to gain access to it.
Put the rear end up on jack stands or ramps, and block all possable movement, and you can access the fuel pump from the front of the fuel tank.
Remember to use a BRASS punch to remove the lock ring, and make sure everything is cleaned up before removing anything. Last thing you need is dirt in the tank.
