Can I use Zip Ties instead of a clamp to secure the lower radiator hose?

Hi victorlazlo59. Welcome to the forum. What are you trying to secure the hose to? If you mean to connect the hose to the radiator or engine, the normal pressure that builds up in the cooling system will blow the hose off. The heat will soften the zip tie too until it lets go.

If you are trying to hold the hose away from sharp or hot items so they won't cause a leak, zip ties will work but use fat ones and place a piece of an old hose between the zip tie and the hose you're holding. That will prevent the zip tie from cutting into the hose, especially if there will be a lot of force on it.
