I have a 1997 Supercharged XJR(X300). Until recently it was running fine then one day I was driving along and the car lost power and engine light flashed. Now when I drive along the road and accelerate the engine spluters, the engine light comes on and the car trys to die on me.
The car is lumpy on idle slightly, but revs fine when done slowly. If the accelerater is depressed fast the engine light comes up and the car trys to die. There are no fault codes, I have changed both lambda sensors. However the scanner tells me the car is running very lean all the time at 25-30%.

I have the question about ABS above you.

Check to see if there are air leaks.

Any air that gets in th engine and doesn't go through the mass air sensor will create the symptom you are referring to.

I found that the fexible rubber neck on mine was loose. See if all the Air intake hoses are clamped/secured properly.

Can you go start the car, hold your hand over the intake snout sticking in the front of the grill and cause it to stall from lack of air, or hear air making entry at other points?
